Nata a Brescia, Inizia subito a dedicarsi a musica e disegno.
Frequenta il Liceo classico all’ Istituto Sacro Cuore di Genova e all’età di 17
anni torna in famiglia a Milano dove sposa un famoso industriale di macchine
tessili , Dario Carniti , dal quale avrà tre figli : Arturo, Barbara e Marco.Fu così
che frequentò già da piccolissima, casa Toscanini e casa De Sabata insieme
a critici musicali e scenografi.Conobbe Maria Callas che applaudì fin dalla
prima prova alla Scala con la direzione del maestro De Sabata.
Ha incoraggiato personalmente diverse correnti artistiche , tra le quali le
Italiane di Tacchi, Ceroli, Schifano, appoggiando con entusiasmo il prestigioso
premio Golin, del quale conobbe la famosa mecenate, Mrs.Golin, che aiutava
molti artisti della avanguardia Italiana. Ha assistito così all’inizio e al
successo della pop-art seguendo i vari leaders come Liechtestein, Jasper
Jones e Andy Warol, spesso ospite prezioso nella sua casa di St. Moritz
Frequentando le varie mostre internazionali si commosse di fronte al primo
oggetto di arredamento apparso al Museo di Arte Moderna a New York : la
sedia disegnata dall’architetto Italiano Aldo Jacober, appesa in una teca;
successivamente lo incontrerà e collaborerà con lui ad un importante
assistito così all’inizio e al successo della pop-art seguendo i vari leaders
come Liechtestein, Jasper Jones e Andy progetto milanese.
L’Europa l’ha ispirata sia in modo culturale che pragmatico , rivisitando
poeticamente il Bauhaus dal 1973 al 1980, riconsegnando la memoria di tutta
la Scuola Viennese di Hoffman, Loos, Wagner, Kolo Moser, che le diedero
alcune conferme essenziali.
Ma prima di iniziare concretamente la sua attività di interior designer, Marika
Carniti, essendo autodidatta, frequentò per un anno lo studio dell’ architetto
Caneva: un grande maestro, decano dell’ architettura, già impegnatissimo
nella ricostruzione della Milano del dopoguerra.
Oggi, Marika Carniti Bollea, risposatasi al fondatore della neuropsichiatria
infantile Italiana, Giovanni Bollea, svolge sempre la sua attività a Roma , dove
vive. Per quanto riguarda gli interni, continua a disegnare le varie ipotesi di
rappresentazione, decise e discusse insieme alle imprese di costruzione, e
agli artigiani; Mentre per le progettazioni di esterni, collabora con architetti
ed ingegneri, che trovano soluzioni tecniche adeguate, portando a termine
quanto e’ soltanto disegnato artisticamente da lei. Ogni dettaglio e’
personalmente disegnato e seguito nella sua realizzazione come i tessuti.
Televisione italiana, tedesca e radio americana l’ hanno spesso ospitata per
dei “close up” su di lei. | She was born in Brescia. From the beginning she devoted herself to
music and drawing. She attended the “Liceo” specialised in classical
studies at the institute Sacro Cuore in Genoa and when she was 17
she come back to Milan where her family lived. There she marries a
famous textile machine manufacturer, Dario Carniti, and they have
three children: Arturo, Barbara e Marco. This is the reason why she
started, since when she was very young, going to Toscanini and De
Sabata house together with music critics and set designer. She met
Maria Callas and she applauds since her first rehearse at Scala with
master De Sabata direction.
She personally encouraged some artistic competitors, such as the
Italian di Tacchi, Ceroli, Schifano, and supported with great enthusiasm
the prestigious prize Golin, and she met its patron, Mrs. Golin, who
helped many Italian avant-garde artists. She was assisted to the start
and success of pop-art and she followed the various leaders such as
Liechtenstein, Jasper Jones and Andy Warhol, who was often guest in
her home in St. Moritz. While she visited many International exhibitions,
she moved in front of the first interior decoration presented at the
museum of modern arts in New York: the chair designed by the Italian
architect Aldo Jacober, that was hanging in a casket; later she will meet
him and will cooperate with him to an important Milan project.
Europe inspired her both culturally and pragmatically: re-examining
poetically Bauhaus from 1973 to 1980, and returning the memory of
the whole Viennese school by Hoffman, Loos, Wagner, Kolo Moser,
who gave her some essential confirmations. Before starting in real
terms her interior designer activity, Marika Carniti, self-taught woman,
attended one year long the atelier of that architect Caneva: a great
master, doyen of architecture, very busy in the reconstruction of
Milan in post-war period. Nowadays Marika Carniti Bollea, married
with infantile neuropsychiatry founder, Giovanni Bollea, works in
Rome, where she lives. Concerning interiors, she designs various
representation hypotheses, as decided and discussed together with
manufacturers and artisans. While concerning exterior designs she
cooperates with architects and engineers finding out suitable technical
solutions concluding what she artistically draws.
Each detail is drawn personally and followed in its realisation as
textiles are. Italian and German television and American radio often
invite her some “close up” about her. |
